FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

AMBRO SPORT CAR NEARS COMPLETION

February, 2008 – Jesup, Iowa:

Joe Alexander of Alexander Racing Enterprises (A.R.E.), a producer of aftermarket, replacement and performance parts for British sports cars, has announced that the first AMBRO sports car is nearing completion. Working in conjunction with lead instructor, Rick Junkermeier, of WyoTech’s Laramie, Wyoming campus, the AMBRO project (continuation of build ARE#001) has moved into the final phases of assembly.

Under Junkermeier’s supervision, selected students of WyoTech have included the car as part of their curriculum, gaining valuable hand-on experience working on a real world project. Since receiving the chassis and body, WyoTech students have refinished and painted the AMBRO fiberglass body, completed the necessary interior sheet metal panels, dashboard, firewall, floorboards, seats and upholstery. The AMBRO will be returned to A.R.E. for final assembly which includes electrical wiring, brakes, cooling systems and installation of a four-cylinder Triumph engine.

Alexander expects to have the AMBRO completed and running by June and plans to take the car on tour to the following events in 2008:

Kohler International Challenge-Display & Concours at Road America in July

Meadowbrook Hall Concours – at Oakland University near Detroit in August

Vintage Triumph Register National Convention and Concours at Ypsilanti, MI in August

Watkins Glen US Grand Prix-entry & Village Festival Concours - September

Heartland Acres Agribition Convention Center-Independence, Iowa (Winter)
